Defending human rights with determination
STORY
Internazional Common Law Court of Justice Vienna – ICCJV.
On 2 October 2015, authorised representatives of the national courts of the ICCJ met in Bern to sign the international founding treaty between Germany, Austria and Switzerland and established the ICCJV ‘International Common Law Court of Justice Vienna’. With its foundation as an intergovernmental organisation, the ICCJV acquired its full international character. The drafting and ratification of the Vienna Statute of the ICCJV, in accordance with existing and ratified principles of international law and human rights, works for people of all kinds without distinction of race, gender or territorial affiliation. It has also set itself the task of acting as a mediator, observer, guardian and protector of human rights and international law. The establishment and self-assumption of tasks were notified to the United Nations in Geneva (OHCHR) and New York (Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and Security Council), the Russian Federation (Vladimir Putin) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ) and the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, in accordance with UN Resolution/RES/53/144. The ICCJV then delivered its instruments of accession and ratification to the individual conventions in New York on 23 January 2017.
After the expiry of the 30-day period in accordance with the content of the agreement, these instruments of accession and ratification are legally binding. These include:
Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 18 April 1961,
Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of 24 April 1963,
Convention on Special Missions of 16 December 1969,
Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes against Internationally Protected Persons, including Diplomatic Agents, of 14 December 1973.
Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties between States and International Organisations or between International Organisations of 21 March 1986.
In order to carry out this important work on behalf of the people in a neutral, impartial and independent manner, Article 9(1) of UN Resolution/RES/53/144 guarantees the right to effective protection by the State authorities in the event of a violation of these rights.
This United Nations resolution requires States to guarantee protection and recognition to groups and individuals involved in the dissemination, application, protection and implementation of Human Rights and International Law.

In 2020, there was an almost total restructuring of the organisation with significant changes in roles.
We currently have our head office in London, England.
Upcoming locations planned: Switzerland, Romania, Italy.
Thanks to the collaboration of the special intervention unit Task Force G.N.G.T.R., we were able to complete our investigative division to contribute to the fight against human trafficking and/or slavery, organ trafficking, and, thanks to the collaboration of law enforcement agencies from various countries, child abuse and mistreatment of women.

Building a fair future with commitment and determination
Our organisation has overcome obstacles and brought about significant changes in the protection of human rights.
